Training

32 people attended our Caring for Ex-Offenders and C.O.A.C.H. training day in London in May.  The delegates had a whole range of experience of helping ex-offenders.

A few came who had been approached by us to support an ex-offender and wished to discern if this was a ministry they would like to be involved in. A few church representatives who were about to start mentoring came to learn about the best way to support the guys they were about to be linked with.  Also, there were people with lots of experience who came to share this with others and brought others from their church to learn too. One individual is now hosting a training event in a different area of the country in the Autumn, to support those resettling there. The feedback was good and some of the churches who met have begun working together to support ex-offenders in their local area, so it was a great networking event too!
